About Captain's Landscape Gallery
Captain’s Landscape Gallery is built on a lifelong love of place, memory, and the quiet beauty of the natural world. Growing up in rural Vermont, I was drawn to the character of old architecture and the landscapes that held it—stone walls, weathered barns, winding country roads, and the historic homes, mature trees, meadows, rivers, and mountains that shaped my sense of place. These early impressions continue to guide my artistic eye.
Travel along the Maine coast, Cape Cod, and island shores broadened that inspiration, deepening my fascination with lighthouses, coastal villages, and the shifting interplay of light and atmosphere. The work reflects the richness, texture, and depth of classic oil painting, shaped by landscapes that feel both familiar and enduring.
Each piece is created with intention—to capture balance, mood, and a quiet sense of place. My hope is that these artworks bring warmth, calm, and a timeless sense of natural beauty into your home.
Coastal Paths and Atlantic Light
Inspired by the rhythms of the Cape Cod shore — open skies, dune grasses, and the pull of the horizon.

"The picture is made well and very nice, but it's brighter and bolder than I anticipated. I know everyone's devices are different when it comes to colors, so it's not the seller's fault."
